Always when under way, and some times on hikes, we take SPOT with us. SPOT is not our replacement of Torch. SPOT is our tracking device. It is linked to google maps and when on, it tracks our position every ten minutes. It also allows us to send OK messages manually. The messages are linked to a select few email accounts (i.e. family).
